Calmaria Guesthouse - Porto Covo

Had a great time at Calmaria! The breakfast spread knocked it out of the park with yummy pastries and fruits. The location made it easy to explore Porto Covo. Just a heads up, the shower was kind of tricky to manage, but overall a lovely stay!

The breakfast served in the conservatory-style dining area was a good experience, with an excellent selection of fresh fruits, pastries, and a variety of juices. I particularly loved the beautiful and thoughtful decor throughout the guesthouse. Accessing our room was easy with the self check-in process, great to settle in quickly and comfortably.

The room was spotless & functional, and the bathrooms were great-sized...

the staff were helpful and location was lovely. i came across the riverside inn, it was not very far from the hotel, offered nice shots. the room i got was brand-new and functional with a lovely table, very yummy breakfast, as example.

Unfortunately Wi-Fi signal was very weak, and the bed was a bit too soft.

Comfortable bedding creates a cozy retreat after long days. The self-check-in process allows for flexibility in arrival times.

The room felt cramped for what was paid, and the noise from the thin walls was distracting, particularly with street traffic. Windows on the lower floor lacked proper light blocking, and ventilation options were limited, contributing to discomfort. The shower setup, particularly the small showerhead, caused water to spray everywhere, a hassle after long walks.

The breakfast was savoury and tasty, the hotel was modern and overall clean. We were upgraded to a room which was clean.

Everything was perfectly fine, spotless hotel, absolutely perfect and nice location near old center with resto's. Brand-new rooms with balcony and excellent service. Location close to hiking and the main restaurants...

The breakfast was a good spread with fresh fruits and pastries that kept me fueled for my adventures. The cleanliness and calm atmosphere. Plus, the nearby Gelataria Prime was a charming find for a sweet treat!

We totally enjoyed our stay, but I think a couple of changes would have made it really good. The kettle and complimentary tea bags were nice, but only thin paper cups were provided, so I ended up buying a mug. The shower was a bit of a hassle, spraying water everywhere due to a small showerhead, tricky after long walks.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially as everything was in walking distance, only a short walk of about 400 meters. The cozy, clean atmosphere provided a nice retreat after a day of city strolls and adventures.

Calmaria Guesthouse was a lovely little spot just a couple of minutes' walk from the center of pretty Porto Covo. The room was spacious and very clean, equipped with a tv, air conditioning, and a comfortable private bathroom.
